Jøtul is one of the oldest producers of wood stoves, fireplace inserts and fireplaces in the world. Building on a proud Norwegian heritage, they have combined fine craftsmanship with the art of coping with the cold for 170 years as they are designed to withstand harsh Nordic winters using innovative heating technology.

They are the only stove manufacturer in the world to manufacture their products with renewable energy, in the form of Norwegian hydropower, and a significant proportion of the raw materials used are made from recycled cast iron, usually old wood stoves, to support a more sustainable circular economy.

Jøtul products are renowned for their durability, timeless design and exceptional heat performance. Jøtul’s advanced clean burn technology helps reduce airborne particles and emissions while producing more heat from less wood. This creates a cleaner, more efficient burn that can help lower fuel consumption and reduce environmental impact.

Designed and engineered in Norway, every Jøtul stove combines practical performance with elegant Scandinavian styling, offering customers a reliable, sustainable and visually striking heating solution for the home.

  1. Legendary Cast Iron Construction
  • Unmatched Durability: Cast iron is highly resistant to extreme temperatures, meaning the stove will not warp or strain over time.
  • Superior Heat Retention: It provides long-lasting, radiant warmth that continues to heat the room long after the fire has gone out.
  • Leading Guarantee: Backed by an industry-leading 25-year warranty on external cast iron parts
  1. Eco-Friendly Clean Burn Technology
  • Highly Efficient: Features a secondary combustion system that re-burns unburned gases and particulates. This extracts up to 40% more heat per log than older, non-clean-burning models.
  • Low Emissions: Jøtul’s Clean burn Technology significantly exceeds strict EcoDesign 2022 standards, resulting in a cleaner environment and reduced fuel bills.
  1. Zensoric Automatic Technology
  • Advanced Air Control: Found in premium modern lines (such as the F 170 series), Zensoric technology automatically regulates the air supply for perfect, hands-off combustion.
  • Reload Sensors: These built-in sensors alert users exactly when it is the optimal time to reload the stove with more wood, maximising efficiency and minimising soot.
  1. Sustainable Manufacturing
  • Recycled Materials: A significant portion of their cast iron is melted down from old scrap metal.
  • Circular Economy: Jøtul creates state-of-the-art, low-emission stoves out of old, polluting wood stoves.
  1. Repairability and Modularity
  • Unlike many modern steel stoves that may need to be entirely replaced once a component breaks, Jøtul stoves are fully repairable. Wear-and-tear parts like baffles, glass, and gaskets are easily swapped out to keep the stove running for decades.
  1. Timeless Scandinavian Design
  • Jøtul integrates classic Nordic designs and cultural filigree work into their traditional models (e.g., the Jøtul F 3 and F 500), while also offering sleek, modern, and minimalist lines across their contemporary range.
